Drop Off Your Rug or Schedule a Pick Up: Customers are welcome to come by our shop during normal business hours to drop off their rugs. If you prefer to use our local pick up and delivery service, we will travel to your home or business to help move furniture, inspect and assess the condition of your rug, and make all necessary notations before carefully transporting your rug to our Costa Mesa cleaning facility.
In-House Rug Cleaning Facility: Unlike other cleaners that may outsource their rug cleaning to outside vendors, we treat all of our rugs in our own shop for maximum quality control. At our facility, all rugs are cleaned by our own highly trained and experienced technicians, who have the time and resources necessary to give your rug the care and attention it deserves.
Rug Dusting: We use modern rug dusting machines to loosen and remove dirt and debris prior to the washing process. A rug duster is much more effective than a vacuum because it exposes both sides of the rug and uses strong vibrations to shake the rug and release trapped soil. Dusting is especially important for rug owners living in coastal cities like Newport Beach because their rugs are more likely to be exposed to small pieces of sand, which act like razor blades cutting down rug fibers and causing signs of wear over time.
Tested for Color Fastness: Though our technicians can typically identify the most appropriate cleaning technique for each rug upon initial examination, they still take the time to test for color fastness, ensuring that the dyes and rug fibers are resistant to fading or running. Because we don’t believe in taking any unnecessary risks or short cuts, we check all rugs for color fastness, no matter the style or fiber-type, prior to moving forward with the cleaning process.
Cleaned By Hand: To ensure a deep, thorough clean, our cleaning specialists lay rugs flat and carefully hand wash both sides.
Rug Pool for Pet Urine: If your rug has been exposed to pet urine, we will submerge it in a rug pool to neutralize the offending odors.
Cleaning Method: We use a variety of methods to clean the range of rug types that clients bring to our plant, including hot water extraction (often referred to as steam cleaning), shampooing, rinsing, dry cleaning, and intricate hand cleaning. Each rug is treated as a unique project, ensuring that we extract all of the sand, dust, dirt, grime, and debris from your rug’s fibers.
Dried Overnight: After undergoing our comprehensive cleaning process, rugs are hung to dry overnight in our facility’s temperature-controlled dry room.
Stain Protection: Depending upon the make of your rug, we may recommend applying a surface protectant to help prevent future wear and repel stains.
Pick Up Your Rug or Schedule Delivery: As soon as your rug is ready to be returned to you, we will roll it up and give you a call. You can choose to pick it up at our facility or have us deliver it to your home or business at a time that works with your schedule. We will replace all furniture, leaving your room just as we found it.
